JobWave is one of North America’s most successful and dynamic employment programs.
JobWave assists unemployed BC Employment and Assistance clients to
get back to work fast. JobWave is an intensive,
highly-focused initiative that brings dedicated jobseekers together
with employers who want energetic, job-ready applicants.

- unemployed people who don’t want to be BC Employment and Assistance recipients .
- employers who want to hire individuals with current experience.
- the Province of BC, in terms of

- over 200 communities in BC that want to energize employment and help businesses hire and grow.
JobWave is available to BC Employment and Assistance recipients who are approved for the program by the BC Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. Employers who hire through JobWave offer meaningful, quality work in jobs with good long-term prospects.

Employment and Income Assistance . The program is managed by
Victoria-based WCG International HR Solutions™ and sponsored by the BC Chamber of Commerce.
We work with over 43 Community Placement
Partners to recruit and orient job
seekers to our program! Our unique, well-established partnership with the British
Columbia Chamber of Commerce links us to over 130 local chambers
throughout BC. These Chambers represent over 30,000 businesses, many of which
are planning to hire. Plus, our Customer Solutions Team made more than 350,000 calls last year to secure quality job leads, build employer relationships and monitor our clients, and continues to build on that success.
For the past ten years, JobWave's parent company, WCG International HR Solutions, has been developing and delivering leading-edge employment programs. Our track record speaks for itself — over 40,000 people back to work through JobWave and its affiliate programs.
JobWave presents no risk to the taxpayers of BC. The program is
truly jobs and performance-based. No funds are paid out until we’ve
put a BC Employment and Assistance client back to work, and he or she remains employed for a period of time specified by our ministry funders.
JobWave is a rapid-response program. We help jobseekers re-enter the workforce while their
skills and motivation are still high. Studies show that the longer someone
remains without work, the more difficult it is for them to get back into the
workforce. In addition to helping participants find work, JobWave
offers specific work orientation skills needed for small to mid-sized
businesses.

JobWave focuses on creating partnerships between communities, businesses and government. JobWave now partners with 33 Chambers of Commerce throughout BC and 43 community placement agencies, more than any other major jobs placement program in the province.
